Number of expatriates from Kazakhstan increased by 22.8% in 2011

According to the Kazakhstan’s Statistics Agency, the number of immigrants to Kazakhstan decreased by 8.9% in 2011 against the figures of the 2010, while the number of expatriates from Kazakhstan increased by 22.8%.

Turkmen President re-elected winning 97.14 per cent of votes

Earlier today the Central Commission for Elections and National Referendums (CEC) of Turkmenistan announced the results of the presidential election held on February 12, 2012. According to CEC, the incumbent president Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was reelected to the highest post of the country gaining support of 97.14 percent of voters.
