Uzbek authorities are investigating explosion on Termez ˗Kurgan-Tube railway line

The railway line that connects Termez city (Uzbekistan) with Tajik city of Kurgan-Tube was shaken by an explosion on November 17, 2011.
The law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan have launched an investigation on the incident.

“The authorities have established a government commission to determine the causes and circumstances of the criminal act and launched an
investigation,” Interfax reported with reference to the law enforcement bodies of Uzbekistan.

To note, the 218 km long Termez – Kurgan-Tube railway line was launched in 1974.
